Your library on a map
Every photo and video with GPS becomes a dot. Dots group as you zoom out; one tap zooms in, a double tap opens the photos from that spot.
Private photo map for Android + Windows
Travel Gallery puts your photos and videos on a map — trips found automatically and turned into a movie with music, a timeline you can play back, visited countries at a glance — and search for “sunset over the sea” to find exactly those photos. Use it on your phone alone, or add your PC for the whole library. No uploads, no subscription, no one else's cloud.
Windows 10/11 · Android 8+
Measured on the author's own library: 355 GB, 2004–2026.
A map, a timeline and your folders — connected, instant, and working on libraries with tens of thousands of photos.
Every photo and video with GPS becomes a dot. Dots group as you zoom out; one tap zooms in, a double tap opens the photos from that spot.
Photos taken far from home are grouped into trips and named after the countries and places you visited. The trip list and the home they are counted from are free; each trip's gallery and its route on the map are in Premium.
One tap turns a trip into a vertical video: the route animated on the map and your photos popping up to the beat of the music. Pick the length, music, intro, ending and photos, then save it or send it straight to a chat.
Type “beach”, “mountain lake” or a whole sentence like “sunset over the sea” — your phone (6 GB RAM or more) or the PC server recognises what is in your photos and finds them, without sending them anywhere. English and Polish.
See your photos over time, drag to pick any period, or press play and watch a trip unfold day by day.
Countries you have photos from are highlighted, down to San Marino and Gibraltar.
Add your Google Timeline export and see where you were — even on days without a single photo — and give a place to photos without GPS.
No PC needed to start: the app shows the photos and videos on your phone on the map, in trips and on the timeline — offline, without an account. The map is ready in seconds, even for a big library; places fill in as you browse.
Works with “files on demand”: thumbnails sync, originals stay in the cloud until you open them. The phone can even work straight from OneDrive, without the PC.
Old AVI, MOV and 3GP clips and huge 4K files get a light 720p version that plays smoothly on any phone.
Send a view-only link to a folder, a place or a trip, or send the best photos straight to a chat.
Give family a personal link limited to chosen years or folders. They can browse and add favorites — they can never delete.
The app never modifies or moves your photos on its own. Deleting goes to a trash you can restore from.
Start with nothing but the app. Add the free PC server or OneDrive when your library is bigger than your phone.
Just the app
Install it and you are done. The app reads the photos and videos already on your phone, with their dates and locations, and puts them on the map. No PC, no account, works offline.
Whole library
The free Windows server indexes your whole library — tens of thousands of files, years of photos — and serves it to your phone and to any browser. Adds smooth 720p videos, search by content across the whole library, guest links and the web gallery.
No PC running
Library kept in your own OneDrive? The phone can read it directly with your Microsoft account, even while the PC is off.
Two short recordings on a sample library of travel photos — no voice-over, just the app.
Your photos on a map in your pocket — the phone's own gallery, your whole library from the PC at home, or straight from OneDrive.
The PC server also serves a full web gallery — on the PC itself, on a laptop on your home network, or anywhere you choose to expose it.
Filter by years, places, folders and type — everything updates instantly.
An optional, free Windows app for your whole library: it indexes it, reads dates and GPS from your files, makes thumbnails and 720p videos, and serves everything to the phone and the browser. One window shows what it is doing; it sits in the tray and starts with Windows.
Allow access to your photos. The map, the gallery and the statistics are ready in moments, from the photos already on your phone.
For your whole library, run the file on the Windows PC that has your photos (or your synced OneDrive). It reads dates and places and makes thumbnails — your photos stay exactly where they are.
Switch the app to your PC or to OneDrive, or open the web gallery in a browser. Unlock Premium to open place and trip galleries and get routes, movies, countries, the timeline and search by content.
There is no account and no server of ours in the middle. The gallery runs on your phone and your PC, and reads your files from the phone, your disk or your own OneDrive. Places are named from a coarse grid of coordinates (about 5 km) — by your phone's geocoder or by OpenStreetMap on the PC.
Get the Android app from Google Play. The PC server for Windows is optional — for your whole library and the web gallery.

No. In the phone-only mode everything stays on the phone. With the PC server, the app talks to your own PC directly (or to your own OneDrive). Nothing is sent to us.
No. The app works on its own with the photos on your phone. The PC server is for a bigger library — tens of thousands of photos on a disk or in OneDrive — and for the web gallery.
Place and trip galleries with routes and trip movies, visited countries, the timeline with playback, the Google Timeline layer and search by photo content. Place and trip lists and your home are free. It is a one-time in-app purchase on Google Play — the price is shown in the app — with no subscription. It also unlocks the same features in the web gallery of your PC server.
No. Locations you set by hand are stored in the gallery's own data, not written into your photos. Deleting from the gallery moves files to a trash you can restore from.
Only photos with real coordinates are placed automatically — we would rather show fewer dots than wrong ones. You can set a place for a file or a whole folder by hand.
Export the timeline on your phone (Settings → Location → Location Services → Timeline → Export Timeline data) and add the Timeline.json file in Travel Gallery under Settings → Google Timeline. The map shows your routes and stops for any period, together with your photos, and photos without GPS can get a place from it. Older Google Takeout files (Records.json and Semantic Location History) work too. The file is read on your phone or your own PC — it is never sent to us. Premium feature. Yes. Countries you have photos with GPS from are highlighted on the map with a counter — a scratch map of the world that fills itself in from your own photos, down to Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican. Pick a period on the timeline to see the countries of one year or one trip. Premium feature.
Only when the phone shows your library from the PC server. The phone-only mode never needs it, and with a library in OneDrive the phone can read it while the PC is off.
No. When you turn it on, the app or the PC server downloads a recognition model once (Google SigLIP 2 and an English–Polish translator, about 740 MB) and processes your photos on your own device. In the phone-only mode the phone itself recognises them (6 GB RAM or more, while the app is open), with the PC server the computer does, and via OneDrive the phone uses the results from the PC server. It is a Premium feature.
Open a trip in the Android app and tap the clapperboard icon. The app picks the photos (favourites first), draws the route — from your Google Timeline or between the photos — and syncs everything to the music. You can change the length, music, intro, ending, photos, title and place names, preview it and save a 1080×1920 MP4. Part of Premium.
